Emanuel's principles of triage

This was just forwarded to me. More of the wisdom from Obama's man in charge of healthcare reform.

Complete Lives System - by Dr. Ezekial J. Emanuel et al.
Dr. Ezekial Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel - chief of staff to the President, writes in the Lancet that: "The death of a 20-year-old young woman is intuitively worse than that of a 2-month-old girl, even though the baby has had less life. The 20-year-old has a much more developed personality than the infant, and has drawn upon the investment of others to begin as-yet-unfulfilled projects." Lancet, Volume 373, Issue 9661, Pages 423 - 431, 31 January 20, 2009.

I've heard about this. Makes me livid! and Sick!

Using his criteria... I wonder who's life is more valuable than his or the people he loves? Where does it stop?

It's subjective. Depends what eyes you see with and what values you embrace.

It is disturbing to learn the histories on the czars in this administration. I have never seen such a massive change of power with such *radical* ideologies... way more than the usual democrats vs republicans.

Yet.. people are oblivious. Friend was telling me today how her son was saying the Obama health care plan will be good for this country. Seton hall grad and couldn't give any reason for why it is good other than Canada has a better plan and because Michael Moore said it's better. I'm sorry but LOL!..regarding Michael Moore. now there's a beacon of unbiased and accurate information.

Sadly... so many people because they embrace the liberal ideology... don't realize just how extreme this administration's positions are... and are oblivious to the long term consequences.
