Freudian Slip!

It always seems that when people are tired or in crisis that their guard is let down and they tend to say what is really on their mind and what they have been trying to suppress and the truth comes out.

I guess this is why Senator Reid first voted NO on the Senate Healthcare Bill before one of his aides pointed out his error. He then claimed it was because he was too tired! Was this a sense of morality that was suddenly blinked out?

I think you hit the nail on the head..exactly on the head. The question is WHY??? Why enact something you know nothing about, will hurt the people -compromise medical care, cost too much for the country and at a time when in financial crisis? And why.. for the love of God ...WHY are billions of dollars being promised to people.causes/states that have NOTHING to do with health care???

WHY?

I want every corrupt politician on both sides out of there and I would love it if a 3rd party that actually represented the people got elected. The only thing you don't want it to then take away votes that would then cause the president to be re-elected.

Never in my adult life have I ever actually been *afraid* of the president seriously hurting the country ..changing it from the strong free America we all love, are proud of ..and grew up with those values and ideals.

I believe all people are equal and we are no better than any other nationality. Most of our relatives came from other countries. But what is wonderful is that America has always been known as the land of the free and the home of the brave and we have stood above other countries as the strongest national power...and we have helped so many. We are not perfect and made mistakes ..but so has everyone else. And other countries look to us when they are threatened. and people don't risk there lives to get here because it is a bad country. No..they want very much to be a part of it.

I like Obama as a person ..as much as I can see. But have never ever felt so insecure about a president in office. I want to feel safe. I do not feel safe with Obama, Pelosi and Reed. I do not.
