A Sith Lord

I received this in my email this morning.

What, that cant be you say. Or can it? Consider the following.

Barack Obama became the leader of the free world after a brief career as a virtually unknown and unimportant US Senator. Chancellor Palpatine became Emperor after a brief career as a virtually unknown and unimportant Senator from Naboo.
In 2008, Barack Obama campaigned on a platform of "Hope and Change", (after a carefully orchestrated crisis). Similarly, Chancellor Palpatine, prior to seizing emergency powers and declaring himself Emperor, raised everyones hopes at the prospect of ending the Clone Wars. (after a carefully orchestrated crisis)
And take a look at this Obama speech here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItHtOqh2Yk0 . I could swear he sounds just like Palpatine.
Coincidence? Sure, That's what THEY want you to think....

Clever in more ways than one. :)

"(after a carefully orchestrated crisis)" - Do you mean the financial crisis in Fall 2009 - which was the turning point in his favor after McCain botched it.

That people were suckered into the "hope and change" mantra still astounds me. No experience. No vetting his background. Sealed up college papers. His book. the people he had in his inner circle.

The so called fair press was too busy following Bristol Palin's pregancy, or Sarah's legs or stating palin was inexperienced after being governor of a state ..and had way more experience. I don't think she was ready ..but had a heck of a lot more going in her favor than his ineptitude in making decisions and running a government. And now ..we are reaping all that Hope and Change.

I'm sure he's a nice guy and family man ..but was not presidential material. .

It is little known (very little) that a Jedi Warrior is officially designated through a ceremony. Sacred herbs are infused into water from Lake Co'eens'tooshonal, then drunk in reverie and celebration.

It is an "infusional celebration". The proper translation escapes me at the moment.
